Wall to Wall recently commissioned Jump Cut Editors for Netflix’s ‘Alien Worlds,’ narrated by British actress Sophie Okonedo.
Applying the laws of life on Earth to the rest of the galaxy, this stunning four-part miniseries blends CGI, science fact and fiction to imagine alien life on other planets, following a similar style to BBC’s nature docuseries such as Blue Planet.
Jump Cut’s Zoe Davis and Andrea Cuadrado were the perfect combination to offline edit two of the episodes. Bringing their expertise and wealth of experience from nature and high-end documentary programmes to the project.
Zoe edited the opening episode ‘Atlas,’ an exoplanet whose atmosphere is so dense that these creatures are always flying, and never set foot on the ground.
Whilst both she and Andrea cut the final episode ‘Terra.’ A planet whose hyper-advanced species make their home and must now colonize another world, using robots.
The project was a joy to work on and we are very proud to have collaborated with a hugely talented creative team, on this EMMY award-winning Netflix Top 10 series.
