Jump Cut Editors is proud to announce our latest long-form project: the Channel 4 documentary ‘Jamie’s Dyslexia Revolution,’ produced and directed by Jane Mingay.

Edited by Evelyn Franks, the film follows Jamie Oliver as he opens up about his lifelong struggle with undiagnosed dyslexia, uncovering the realities faced by thousands of children across Britain who are not receiving the support they need. Emotional, urgent, and deeply personal, the documentary highlights the gaps in the current education system and amplifies Jamie’s call for greater government intervention and meaningful change in schools.

Evelyn led the edit, weaving Jamie’s intimate story together with powerful accounts from families, educators, and experts. Her sensitive, character-driven approach shaped the film’s emotional core while keeping its message clear and compelling. Working closely with Jane Mingay and Jamie Oliver Productions, Evelyn helped craft a film that balances personal testimony with national significance.

Thank you to all at Jamie Oliver Productions for trusting us to deliver a film so close to his heart. To find out more about Jamie’s campaign and how you can get involved, read here.

Jamie’s Dyslexia Revolution airs Monday 9th June at 9pm on Channel 4.
