We’re excited to introduce the newest members of the Jump Cut Editors team. Jamie Cooke and Matt Wardas become our first ever full-time, in-house editors, marking a significant milestone for the company.

Jamie Cooke steps into the role of Junior Video Editor. A recent graduate, he has already built valuable experience working in live sports, including football and motorsport.

Matt Wardas is a versatile editor with several years of industry experience. His work spans social media content, promos, hype reels, short-form documentaries and branded films. He has worked with global brands including Apple, Rolls-Royce, Maserati and Tesla.

Both Jamie and Matt joined Jump Cut Editors last month and have already hit the ground running. They are currently working with one of our clients, Formula 1. Throughout the 2025 season, they will continue to collaborate with F1 across a wide range of content, including VTs, highlights, features, interviews and studio shows for F1.com, F1TV and F1’s digital and social platforms.

New Faces, New Space

Alongside welcoming new team members, Jump Cut Editors has also moved into a new dedicated office space in Reigate, Surrey, overlooking the stunning Priory Park. The location is well connected, with direct rail services to London Victoria in 45 minutes and convenient access to the M25.

This move marks an exciting new chapter for us. Our new workspace provides a fully equipped editing environment with ultra-fast 1 Gb/sec broadband, secure dedicated servers, and a flexible remote-first workflow. This setup allows the team to share large media files, collaborate seamlessly with clients, and work efficiently on projects across the UK and internationally.

The new office supports our continued growth while maintaining the agility and responsiveness Jump Cut Editors is known for. It provides both editors and clients with a professional, reliable hub for increasingly ambitious projects.

This is a real step forward for Jump Cut Editors. Jamie and Matt were two outstanding candidates, and bringing them on board alongside moving into our own office space puts us in a strong position for the future. We’re fully operational and already looking forward to a busy, exciting year of projects in 2025 – and beyond.
