Andrea Cuadrado brought her editorial expertise to Channel 4’s Michael Jackson: The Trial, a landmark four-part, 60-minute documentary series produced by Wonderhood Studios.
Editing Episode 3, she helped shape a pivotal chapter exploring the 2005 criminal trial of Michael Jackson — arguably the most dramatic six months of his life, as he stood accused of heinous crimes.
Combining previously unheard audio tapes of Michael Jackson, his close insiders, and the LA police with extensive archive material, the series explores Jackson’s story and complicated legacy. It examines his rise to fame, life in the spotlight and the extraordinary media coverage surrounding the trial.
Over 2,000 journalists descended on Santa Maria, California, while global broadcasters aired rolling coverage of the trial, creating an unprecedented media spectacle.
Featuring startling new revelations, the series balances courtroom detail with broader themes including celebrity, race, money, and the American justice system. The episodes offer viewers a compelling insight into one of the most sensational criminal trials in history.
“Andrea’s been incredible and we’re sad we can’t have her for any longer! Tom A (Show Runner & Executive Producer) has been constantly singing her praises. It’s been a pleasure – we’d definitely love to work with her again soon.”
Georgia Brown, Production Manager | Wonderhood Studios
