Jump Cut Editors are pleased to share that Nick J. Webb has cut the powerful new film, Sophie Morgan’s Fight to Fly directed by Jane Mingay and produced by Hello Sunshine.
The film follows broadcaster and disability rights campaigner Sophie Morgan as she challenges the airline industry’s treatment of wheelchair users and exposes the barriers that continue to prevent disabled passengers from travelling freely and safely.
What begins as a personal journey quickly becomes a wider investigation into systemic inequality. Revealing the human cost of inaccessible air travel and the urgent need for reform.
Cut on Avid, Nick worked closely with Jane to balance the emotional depth of Sophie’s journey. Featuring investigative journalism and intimate, character-led storytelling, the film gives space to Sophie’s personal experiences – while driving the narrative forward with clarity and emotional impact, creating a documentary that is both informative and deeply affecting.
